New Adventure Travel Options In Ohio This May
Ohio will present tourists with a multitude of adventure travel options this May, says the Ohio Tourism Division.
The 'African Elephant Crossing', resembling the African savannas, opens on 5 May at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The adventure travel takes visitors through a naturalistic five-acre habitat with two extensive ranges, deep ponds, a waterfall and mud wallow for ten elephants.
Hocking Hills' Canopy Zipline Night Flight offers a two-hour nocturnal adventure travel in Rockbridge every Fridays and Saturdays from May onwards. Visitors will come in contact with sounds, smells and creatures of the night, then zip away into the darkness of the sky.
'Dinosaurs Alive!' offers an adventure travel experience in the Jurassic forest at Kings Island. Opening on 26 May, it has the world's largest animatronic dinosaur, the Ruyang Yellow River dinosaur in it. 'Dinosaurs Alive!' also includes a paleontological dig site for kids, where they can unearth prehistoric fossils.
